Please note that leather is not cut to size but sold as a skin / hide / side etc.
Skins/hides are supplied in irregular sizes, and, being a natural product, will have some natural imperfections.
Colours shown may differ slightly and should be used as an indication only.
How the price per skin/hides is calculated
The area of the skin is taken to determine the price per skin/hide. Each skin/hide is pre-measured from the tanneries in dm2 (dm2=10cm x10cm /1mt2=100dm2 The skins vary in size, a full hide being approximately 4,1m2 Imported skins/hides may still be measured in square ft – Use the conversion of 9.29dm2 to 1sqft. To determine the price of the skin, one will take the size of the skin in dm2 and this is then multiplied by the price per dm2 quoted, add Vat.
